well, I'm back from the holidays...Therefore I can spin tales of glorious adventures and excurisons into the unknown...If I wasn't boring.

Really it was pretty quiet. A couple bars, a huge new year's eve party, but I spent a lot of time reading. Boring eh? But I watched the World Juniors game. GO CANADA W00t W00t!!!!

and the U.S was supposed to win it all? Woulda worked out better if they'd placed for a medal...lol.

Anyway, I will continue to update this blog and spin my tales...lol.\

uhh, my last few days have consisted of exam preparation, sleeping and spending quality time with Rach. yay!

And i got to catch up with my old and bestest friend Emily. we hung out, ate popcorn and pretty much watched trashy movies.

and uhh....in other news, my adobe photoshop has gone kerplunk. BOOO!

as well, I have a new yu-gi-oh deck, as if anyone cares, which is ruining peoples lives. I have won 16 times and lost once to date, and had 3 people quit playing and make up lame excuses to leave. I hate quitters...

I'll be missing about 2-3 weeks of blog time due to the holidays...my mom is a bit old fashioned and lacks the interweb thing...lol. But in case i don't get back to this before then...happy holidays!

I killed my can lit exam today! I'm excited. I feel like I can do anything! Go me! I rocked that exam....I focussed on national identity and landscape, and it all just fell into place. w00t!

Exams have started. I worte 2 today...I did lousy on the oceanography. That test was rigged for failure. And i did ok on international political economy. Oh well...I can finally sleep for a bit. Except I have another one thursday.

I'm letting down my avid readers by not posting every day...lol. I think Reina is my only regular visitor...T_T Where is the love people?

anyway, it's because exams are sneaking up on me. They start monday. Oceanography(easy science course for my major) and International political economy. For those of you who DON'T KNOW I'm a double major in english literature and politicial science. Those 2 are on monday, and my next is thursday...then I just have one more to go! but I'll have some time to study in between, maybe see rachael and hopefully keep this updated....

not much happened again today. With exams coming up everyone is more or less calming down. Which is good. Gives me quiet time, and hang out time with Rachael. Speaking of which...

I got out of my last class early tonight and took Rachael out for dinner. Spago's is expensive. But it was worth it. We both dressed up nice and had a good dinner. Now I'm just chilling out and listening to music...Rachael had stuff to do at home, but she's coming over later. O boy!

Nothing much to report...last week of classes, so I'm wrapping up and reviewing stuff. And I've started jogging again. I'm so out of shape...lol. It sucks and I feel like junk now, but in a week or so I'll get back into the swing.

For those of you you who are clueless, that's Coldplay's "The scientist". Which I deliberately had playing today when Rachael came over this morning. I asked her to dance. In my room. Lol. It's not very big, but meh. We just stood there dancing.

I decided then and there that I'd ask her out. Which I have an odd way of doing. lol. I kissed her. And the deed was done. It was welcomed and returned.

So I'm back in the game and happy as ever.

Yay.

I think I'm going to cook her dinner tonight. Fettucini Alfredo and marinated chicken breast, celebrated in my tiny cramped dorm room. Can you say romantic?

I had the best night ever. Rachael( the hamburger girl if you read my last post...) and I spent the night hanging out. We sat around, watched movies, ate junk and talked about stuff. She is quite possibly the coolest girl ever. Definitely thinking about this one. She came over about midnight, and we just hung out. She left about 8 this morning. I've been in a great mood all day. ^_^

If there's anything I can do to make your day better, let me know. That's just the kind of mood I'm in.

So, I was sitting in the cafeteria today when out of nowhere a girl comes over, sits down and says hi. I don't think much of it until she grabs the burger I'm eating right out of my hand and takes a huge bite. So I was like wtf... she started laughing and apologized. Apparently her friends dared her to come over and do it. I look behind her, and lo and behold, 3 girls are sitting at a table dying of laughter. Now, I'm a fairly easy-going guy myself, so it's all in good fun. Not to mention she didn't look half bad. So we started talking. She's actually a pretty cool person. We're even in the same program. I'm just a year older. Which is cool. So anyway, I invited her to the pub tonight. She agreed. We hung out, had a few drinks, danced, and had a generally good time. Which I liked, since I just handed in my final paper and I'm more or less free for the next 2 weeks. I must say that isn't a bad way to meet someone...lol. And we're hanging out tomorrow too. Rachael's pretty cool. Maybe even enough to get me out of my single slump. Who knows? If wars can be fought over dirt, maybe love can begin over hamburgers. Lol. I'm in a considerably better mood now. A very nice ending to my week.

Well, now that I've gotten some sleep (that essay was killer, but well worth it) I'm just sitting here playing my guitar. It's all about the blues. Throwin out some blues riffs just makes me feel good. I'm grooving.

I'm in such a good mood right now, which is way better than how I've felt most of the week. If you're just viewing my blog now, say hi or something. If just in that good of a mood.

I'm officially living dead man. It's 6 in the morning and I'm finally checking my blog. As in, I haven't been asleep yet. I've been pouring my heart and soul into my final thesis in english...but It's done. 34 pages of blood, sweat and pretty soon if I don't get some sleep, tears, will have gone into this paper. It is a thing of beauty though. Problem is, when I focus too much, I have a tendency to stick out my tongue...I've been going non-stop for 24 hours...can you say lip-chap? But it's done. Which means I hand it in tomorrow and I'm free! Free for 2 weeks until exams. Yay! I think I'm going to treat myself. Tomorrow I'm going to make a nice alfredo sauce and have some great pasta. Yes, believe it or not ladies, I do cook! *_^

too bad I'm gonn a be bone tired since I have about 12 cups of coffee in me. I guess there's time to sleep when I'm dead.

Well, last night I went on a date...even if I did have to drive that lousy focus. lol. but it was fun. Way fun. I haven't seen Casey in a while, so it was really good to see her again. Especially since it's out "first official date." We've been friends for a long time, and dating is...well, it was kinda wierd, but only for a little bit. We get along pretty well. I had to come back down here to school though. But, I think we're super tight now. It's only an hour's drive, which I'd gladly make to see her. And soon enough I'll be back for christmas. We'll hang out more.
